Why Choose Us
Established in 2005, Prince Tree Surgery delivers a broad range of professional tree surgery services across South Essex and the surrounding areas. Our customers use us for a number of reasons including crown reduction and thinning, tree reshaping, removal of dangerous branches, fruit tree pruning and hedge cutting and trimming. We also provide stump grinding and removal, tree planting, transplanting (moving an established tree) and emergency tree works. If you’re unsure whether you need a tree surgeon or not, please don’t hesitate to get in touch as we’re always happy to discuss our customers’ needs in more detail and provide professional advice.
We pride ourselves on our high standards and outstanding personal service. We will carry out a no obligation site visit for every new tree surgery job we’re called to, to assess the scale of the work required and the health and safety implications. Our customers will be provided with a full breakdown of the costs of a project before they commit themselves to our services. No payment will be taken until the work is complete and the customer is satisfied with the outcome. Customers are able to make payments via cheque or bank transfer and your privacy will always be protected.
As a local tree surgery business, we take great care to deliver a personal service to our customers from the moment they call to the completion of a project. Nobody likes waiting for a tradesman, especially during a domestic emergency, and we make sure our customers are never waiting longer than necessary for a response. From your first call to us when you will get through to Rachael at our offices, this will then be followed up by a site visit as soon as possible which will establish the quickest start date for the work. There are certain occasions, however, when a delay is beyond our control such as when a Tree Preservation Order is in place or conversation consent is required by the local council. We will oversee all such administrative work and organise a start date at the earliest opportunity.
Tree surgery carries significant risks. Health and safety is our top priority, and we take our responsibilities to protect your property and the safety of our staff and customers very seriously. We only employ tree surgeons who are qualified to carry out the jobs they undertake and who possess the necessary certification to work with the various tools and machinery required for the job. In addition to formal qualifications, our team has many years of experience.
In the unlikely event of an incident, we have £5m public liability insurance cover and all our staff are covered by £10m employers’ liability insurance, which protects homeowners in today’s litigious society.
We are an environmentally conscious business that takes great care to recycle all of the waste from our jobs, holding the relevant license issued by Environment Agency. We use environmentally-friendly products while on-site including low emission power tools, biodegradable oils and bio diesels.
